Dale and Sandra Ruston began renting the 2 bedroom Rustic Cottage in 1995, and added the Stone House in 2001. There is
a half-mile distance between the two cottages. The Rustons operate the only rental cottages on Big Bass Lake and live
about a mile down the road. Sandra enjoys stopping to greet guest families while out biking and is eager to answer
questions about the Wausau and Stevens Point areas. Sandra is a retired nurse practitioner from the UW-Stevens Point
Student Health Center, and Dale is a retired accountant. They have two married children, and five grandchildren.
